Japan's Agriculture Ministry plans to utilize ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI, for tasks like revising manuals for online services. Since the manuals are public, security risks like data leaks are considered minimal. However, Farm Minister Tetsuro Nomura acknowledged concerns about potential privacy issues but assured that ChatGPT would only be used to reword publicly available information. To address security concerns, the ministry will use Microsoft Corp.’s cloud services for this integration. ChatGPT will streamline the process for over 5,000 administrative procedures.
